The Student Bar Association coordinates student activities, sponsors many academic, social, and community events, and serves as the liaison to the faculty, administration, and alumni for all students. SBA Board meetings are held weekly during the school year, and the meetings are open to all. Elections of officers and upperclass representatives are held each Spring.

Through the Board, the SBA serves as an advocate for your interests. The SBA works to enhance the law school experience and to provide opportunities to voice concerns regarding the curriculum, the administration, and your overall general concerns. The SBA also sponsors several social events throughout the year, including speaker events, Barrister's Ball, the SBA Auction, Flaw Review, and the bi-annual Golf Tournament. The SBA also plans the annual graduation events.

The mission of the SBA is to foster a cooperative, professional, and diverse educational environment at our law school. In pursuit of this mission, the SBA will:

1. Represent student interests to administration and faculty
2. Apprise students of the various issues and developments concerning our school, and
3. Create opportunities for students to come together in both social and academic setting.

*This mission statement has been developed by the SBA Board with ideas being drawn from various other SBA websites.
